Booking and payment processing via Stripe

We use the service Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (The One Building, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland) for payment processing.

Stripe processes the following data, among other things: name, billing address, credit card details, bank details, IP address.

Stripe is an international payment service provider; data may be transferred to the USA.

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

Google Analytics uses so-called ‘cookies’. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

1. Scope of application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concluded via the website www.altmarkcheckin.com between Vohse und Gärtner GbR (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Provider’) and users for the booking of holiday and workers' accommodation.

2. Subject matter of the contract
Altmark Checkin offers short-term rentals of holiday and worker accommodation and apartments. Hotel services (breakfast, reception, daily cleaning) are not provided.

3. Conclusion of contract
Booking via the online form constitutes a binding offer. The contract is concluded upon confirmation by the provider via email.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros and include statutory VAT.
Payment is made via the payment service provider Stripe. By submitting your booking, you agree to your payment details being passed on to Stripe.

5. Cancellation/withdrawal
Cancellations are free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. After that, 100% of the booking price will be charged.

6. Use of the accommodation
The accommodation may only be used by the number of persons specified in the contract. Pets are only allowed with prior consent, as is subletting.

7. Liability
The provider is only liable for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent behaviour. No liability is accepted for failures due to force majeure.

8. Data protection
The privacy policy at www.altmarkcheckin.com/datenschutz applies.

9. Final provisions
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Stendal.

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Vohse und Gärtner GbR, Weberstraße 24, 39576 Stendal, email: [email protected]) of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter or email).

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the booking of accommodation services for a specific date (§ 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB).
